ACCREDITATION PROCEDURE
Representatives of the Bulgarian and foreign media who wish to report on the spring session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly need special accreditation. The Bulgarian press secretariat of the Sofia session of the NATO PA is responsible for the accreditation and registration of the representatives of the Bulgarian media and of the representatives of the international media who have accreditation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Foreign media representatives who attend the NATO PA Spring Session as part of national delegations or who have previously received accreditation for other NATO PA events will be accredited by the NATO PA International Secretariat by e-mail: [email protected]
In order to obtain accreditation, media representatives must fill out an Accreditation form and send it together with a digital photo (passport photo in low resolution, max 60 kb, format jpeg) to the Bulgarian Press Secretariat of the NATO PA Sofia Session no later than 16 May 2024 till 5 p.m. by email: [email protected]
After receiving the form and photo, the Bulgarian press secretariat of the Sofia session of the NATO PA will contact the media representatives by email to inform them if the request has been received and accepted.

OBTAINING AN IDENTIFICATION BADGE
- After completing the accreditation procedure, you will receive additional information on when and where you can collect your badge.
- The ID badge provides access to all events for which the media representative is accredited.
- It is provided upon presentation of an identity document.
- The identification badge must be worn in a conspicuous place at all times.
- In case of loss of the Identification Badge, the media representative must immediately notify the press secretary who made the accreditation.
- Accredited members of the media are also required to carry ID, which must be produced upon request by session officials or security personnel.
- Members of the media are requested to arrive promptly at the venue of the session as security screening may take approximately 30 minutes.
